Proud to be a Chef – Do you have what it takes to make the cut this year?
2009 sees Fonterra Foodservices’ support of Proud to be a Chef competition. Proud to be a Chef involves 30 of Australia and New Zealand’s best apprentices taking part in a series of masterclasses conducted by renowned chefs and foodservice professionals. The winner receives a short term placement in an international kitchen!
It is open to all trainee chefs, 18 years or older, who at the 1st March 2010 are enrolled in a cooking training course at level 3 or 4 at a recognised training provider, in New Zealand. You must be an NZ citizen, or hold a valid NZ work permit.
To enter you must complete the entry form which includes a 150 words or less statement on why you’re proud to be a chef, and also submit an original recipe featuring a Fonterra Foodservices product. Entries close 31st October.
