34th WACS Congress Starts in Santiago.

Sunday 24^th Jan – The Casa Piedra is humming with the voices of over 500 chefs and hospitality persons from around the world as the member associations of the World Association of Chefs Societies gather for the start of their 34^th bi-annual congress in Santiago, Chile.

 

There is excitement and a buzz in the air as all delegates gathered at the Casa Piedra early this morning to register prior to the Santiago sightseeing tour. Old friends caught up, new friendships were forged as we all eagerly caught up with each other’s news and discussed the formidable array of events that the Chefs Association of Chile has lined up for us all over the next 4 and a bit days.

 

With seminars, round table forums, competitions, education and social networking there is something for everyone as well as the serious business of WACS itself.
