FHA Culinary Challenge 2010

Gary is pleased to report that the New Zealand Culinary Team were awarded a Silver Medal earlier today for their Cold Presentation Table. Following up from their Gold Medal in the Live kitchen on Tuesday this now leaves us placed with a chance of making the FHA Culinary Challenge 'Battle for the Lion' Grand Final Cook off on Friday. 

 

We are dependent upon the results tomorrow of Switzerland in the Live kitchen, and Germany & Australia on the Cold Table Presentation, with a Double Gold Singapore are assured of one of the three Grand Final spots, with us and the above mentioned teams vying for the other two spots.

 

Regardless of the outcome tomorrow, the team are elated with our achievements as we have achieved two major goals that we set of ourselves, especially the receiving of a silver medal for Cold Table, we have finally broken the Donkey's back on that particular discipline and lifted ourselves from the Bronze that was always our bogey in the past on that discipline.
