We are an established, bustling restaurant providing brunch, lunch & dinner with a devoted team who are fun, supportive & an owner you can rely on.

The main purpose of these roles is to provide wholesome seasonal food to our customers.

The successful candidates will have the right to work in New Zealand, but we are happy to support visas for the right applicant. As we are based in Mangawhai Heads, the successful applicants must be currently living in the area or looking to relocate, where we can help with the logistics as much as needed.

We are currently looking for talented people to fill the following positions:

Head Chef:
A senior chef with experience in running a busy kitchen team, training junior staff, writing & costing menus, maintaining & reporting on kitchen costs.

Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation & presentation.

The Chef must be imaginative & creative who is passionate about their job & be able to mix & match a variety of ingredients to create classic & innovative food items. The ideal person is quality-oriented, organized, a cooperative team player & zealous!

A minimum of 5 years in a chef de partie or higher role.
Pay negotiable $65,000-$75,000 pa for the right candidate.

Chef de Partie:
Previous experience working in a busy kitchen is essential with the ability to support a busy service on the pass. Take initiative & responsibility for their own ordering prep list, must be open to improvement, growth, & new techniques in a fast-paced environment.
