We have an opening for an experienced Chef with a passion for healthy food.
Situated in Island Bay, we are a retreat and conference centre nurturing the body, mind and spirit.
If you love to delight guests with wholesome New Zealand cuisine, we'd love to hear from you. We value applications which demonstrate knowledge and skills in cooking for diverse diets. Knowledge of plant based whole food cooking would be beneficial.
You will regularly prepare morning and afternoon teas, lunch and dinner and work between the hours of 8:30am and 2:30pm, Monday - Friday.
Applicants must be confident in a busy kitchen environment, familiar with meal costing, menu planning, and following the food control plan. They will have excellent administration, customer service, teamwork and communication skills.
We offer a supportive working environment, good remuneration, a large commercial kitchen and a peaceful setting out of the city.
